Chimera

Chimera or Chimaera
I almost spelled it the second way.
Webster's Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary gives three definitions of the word.
1. A fire-breathing she-monster in Greek mythology having a lion's head, a goat's body, and a serpent's tail.
2. An illusion or fabrication of the mind esp. an unrealizable dream.
3. An individual, organ, or part consisting of tissues of diverse genetic constitution and occurring esp. in plants at a graft union.

Ladies and gentlemen, when you see that I have given myself the name Chimera, please understand that I am referring to the second definition.
It's hard to say why exactly I am making this blog, as I don't really have any intention of telling anyone about it. Ah, well. One more thing to do on the internet.
I have a thing about dreams. Lately though, my dreams have been... distressing. Someone usually tries to kill me by the end. So far I have escaped, but I know that if I did not completely throw myself into saving myself, the dream would succeed. It almost has succeeded before. I don't want to die, not even in a dream. I'm already dying as it is. I mean, I know I'm dying so that I can be reborn in September, but still: dying is hard.
